Boxing Fans, Gear Up for the Latest ProBox TV Wednesday Night Fights
Plant City, Florida, June 5th – ProBox TV is set to thrill boxing enthusiasts once again with the latest edition of its highly anticipated Wednesday Night Fights. Staged at the ProBox TV Events Center, the main event will feature a captivating light-middleweight showdown between Guido Schramm and the upset-minded Vladimir Hernandez.
Schramm, hailing from Buenos Aires, Argentina, but training in Los Angeles, California, weighed in at a lean 155.8 lbs, just under the 155 lbs light-middleweight limit. His opponent, Vladimir Hernandez, came in at the contracted catchweight of 156 lbs for their scheduled 10-round main event.
Schramm (16-2-2, 9 KOs) is looking to bounce back from a recent majority decision loss to Johan Gonzalez on ProBox TV. Prior to that, he had fought the undefeated Paul Kroll to a draw. However, Schramm has also recorded notable wins over previously undefeated fighters, including Jahyae Brown and Nikoloz Sekhniashvili.
Hernandez (14-6, 6 KOs) is known for his ability to pull off upsets. He has twice defeated a previously unbeaten Top Rank prospect in Daniel Valdivia and has also beaten seasoned veterans such as Alfredo Angulo, Julian Williams, and Lorenzo Powell. In his last fight, Hernandez lost a unanimous decision to 2020 US Olympian Troy Isley.
The co-main event will see Alarenz Gonzalez (171 lbs) take on Abel Gonzalez (173 lbs), while Darrelle Valsaint (160 lbs) will face off against Pachino Hill (159 lbs). Other undercard bouts include Brandon McCarthy (139.2 lbs) vs. Ryan Schwartzberg (140 lbs), Mehki Phillips (136 lbs) vs. Erion Johnson (138.6 lbs), and Frank Zaldivar (142.6 lbs) vs. Yesner Talavera (143.2 lbs).
