Robbie Davies Jnr. to Make US Debut on ProBox TV
In a highly anticipated matchup, Liverpool’s Robbie Davies Jnr. will make his US debut on May 8th, taking on former world super lightweight champion Sergey Lipinets. The bout, set to air live on ProBox TV, marks Davies Jnr.’s return to the ring after a prolonged absence due to a freak injury that sidelined him for over a year.
At 23-4 (15 KOs), Davies Jnr. is eager to claim victory against Lipinets, 17-3-1 (13 KOs), as a win would position him right back into contention for a lucrative payday in the stacked super lightweight division. Lipinets, too, recognizes the significance of this fight, knowing that a triumph over the Englishman could elevate him back into the championship picture.
Co-Main Event: Feliz Jr. vs. Navarro
In the co-main event, the ambitious Connecticut heavyweight Fernely Feliz Jr., 7-0 (6 KOs), will face off against the Mexican boxer Cesar Navarro, 11-1 (9 KOs). Feliz Jr. has his sights set on a world title shot within the next 12 months, but Navarro will look to derail those plans and spring an upset.
Undercard: Erdenebat vs. Mercado
Rounding out the ProBox TV card, the undefeated Mongolian Tsenderbaat Erdenebat, 9-0 (4 KOs), will clash with the experienced Puerto Rican Alberto Mercado, 17-6-1 (4 KOs), as Erdenebat prepares to represent his country at the 2024 Olympics in Paris before returning to the professional ranks in the super featherweight division.
Preliminary Bout: Meriwether III vs. Lopez
Completing the action-packed evening is a six-round bout between the undefeated Robert Meriwether III, 5-0 (2 KOs), and the Mexican boxer Victor Lopez.
