In a thrilling bout in front of his local fans, Santillan came out aggressively, using his physicality to bully his way inside. However, it was the busier Norman who landed an impressive 52 more power punches over the course of the fight. A devastating uppercut from Norman towards the end of the eighth round caused Santillan to bleed heavily from the nose.
“It was a tough fight, but I knew I had to stay focused and keep the pressure on,” said Norman after the match.
Undeterred, Norman continued to pressure his opponent, eventually knocking Santillan down in the tenth round. A final, well-placed uppercut from Norman sealed the victory, bringing the fight to a conclusive end.
