Boxing Fans Geared Up for Thrilling “Night of Champions” Card
On Friday, June 2nd, the Caribe Royale Hotel in Orlando, Florida, will play host to an exhilarating boxing event, “Night of Champions,” presented by Boxlab Promotions. The main event will feature a 10-round junior welterweight showdown between the undefeated Cuban prospect Kevin Brown (4-0, 3 KOs) and the experienced Idalberto Umara (12-2, 8 KOs), also hailing from Cuba.
Brown, a highly decorated amateur boxer from Camaguey, is now training in Las Vegas and will put his unblemished record on the line against the hard-hitting Umara, a native of Holguin, Cuba. The co-main event will see heavyweight sensation Gurgen Hovhannisyan (5-0, 5 KOs) of Los Angeles take on the rugged Luis Pascual (19-10, 17 KOs) from Mexico City in an eight-round contest.
The undercard is packed with rising talents, including super lightweight Hendri Cedeno (12-0, 10 KOs) from the Dominican Republic, who will face Matt Conway (22-3, 9 KOs) of Pittsburgh in a six-round bout. Las Vegas-based super bantamweight Angel Barrientes (10-1, 6 KOs) will square off against Junior Pizzati (5-1, 3 KOs) from Kenner, Louisiana, in a six-round clash.
