The Prestigious Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame Inducts Legendary Figures for 2023 and 2024
Las Vegas, NV – The esteemed Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame is set to host its 12th annual induction weekend from August 8-10 at The Orleans Hotel & Casino in the heart of Las Vegas. This highly anticipated event celebrates the remarkable achievements and contributions of the sport’s most revered icons.
The 2023 induction class boasts an impressive lineup of boxing greats, including Donald Curry, Jorge Arce, Zab Judah, Kostya Tszyu, Marvin Camel, Ann Wolfe, Timothy Bradley, Emile Griffith, Genaro Hernandez, Rafael Marquez, and Michael Moorer. In addition, the non-boxing inductees for 2023 are Jacob “Stitch” Duran, Mitch Halpern, and Jesse Reid.
“This year’s induction class is a true reflection of the rich history and enduring legacy of boxing in Nevada,” said the President of the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame.
Looking ahead to 2024, the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame will welcome Layla McCarter, Shawn Porter, and Ishe Smith as part of its induction class, along with non-boxer inductees Mike Martino and Jay Nady.
The action-packed weekend will feature a variety of events, including:
- Meet and greet sessions
- The inaugural Chico Classic Amateur Boxing Tournament in honor of the legendary Diego Corrales
- The highly anticipated induction ceremony
- The Legends of the Ring Celebrity Bowling Experience hosted by Zab Judah
