Cruiserweight Phenom Muhsin “The Muslim Boxer” Cason Dominates with First-Round Knockout
Last Saturday, cruiserweight prospect Muhsin “The Muslim Boxer” Cason solidified his undefeated record, improving to 12-0 (9 KOs) after a swift first-round knockout victory over late replacement Lamont Capers (11-22-5, 2 KOs) at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, PA. The scheduled six-round bout was promoted by Teflon Promotions.
Cason, who is advised by Amer Abdallah, showcased his power and precision, landing two devastating overhand rights that sent Capers crashing to the canvas. The first punch landed flush on Capers’ face, dropping him early in the round, and the second identical shot finished the job, ending the fight in the blink of an eye.
“I landed two really hard overhand rights that landed perfectly,” said Cason. “The first one knocked him down, and the second one sealed the victory. It was over in an instant. I wish Capers well in his career and I’m grateful that he stepped in the ring with me on short notice.”
Cason’s manager, Amer Abdallah, expressed excitement over the young fighter’s continued growth and development, stating, “Muhsin Cason continues to demonstrate tremendous progress as a true cruiserweight. The plan is to keep him active and get him back in the ring as soon as possible. With each fight, he showcases more experience, precision, and overall ring generalship. I’m thrilled to see what’s in store for his future.”
Looking ahead, Cason has his sights set on bigger challenges, declaring, “The cruiserweight division is wide open, and I’m hoping to be in a position to fight for a regional title by the end of the year. Next year, my vision is to become a world champion, God willing.”
