On July 20th, Irish boxing icon Katie Taylor will face off against Puerto Rican star Amanda Serrano in a highly anticipated rematch on the Netflix platform. The two elite female fighters first met in a blockbuster bout at New York’s Madison Square Garden, shattering records for women’s boxing and delivering a Fight of the Year contender that was widely acclaimed.
Taylor, the unified super lightweight champion, had been seeking a new opponent after negotiations for a trilogy bout with Chantelle Cameron stalled. The lure of showcasing their rematch on the global streaming service Netflix has led the former two-time Olympian to feature on a card that will also include the anticipated Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul event.
