Boxing Results: Roach Dominates in Pro Debut, Outlaw Stops Curiel
Washington, D.C. – On a packed fight night at the Entertainment & Sports Arena, several up-and-coming boxers made their mark with impressive victories.
In the main event, junior bantamweight Jordan Roach, making his professional debut, clearly outclassed veteran opponent Luis Domingo Hernandez Cambero, scoring two knockdowns en route to a shutout unanimous decision. Roach, the younger brother of Lamont Roach Jr., dominated the fight from start to finish, showcasing his skills with a barrage of left hooks and powerful combinations.
In the co-main event, welterweight Greg Outlaw stopped Isidro Curiel in the fourth round of a one-sided match. Outlaw, a southpaw from Bowie, Maryland, controlled the action with his sharp left cross and right hook, eventually overwhelming Curiel with a sustained flurry of punches that prompted the referee to stop the contest.
Elsewhere on the card, unbeaten lightweight Deric “Scooter” Davis made quick work of his opponent, Matias Agustin Arriagada, scoring a second-round technical knockout. Prospect Travon “The Sniper” Marshall also notched a unanimous decision victory over Luis Midyael Sanchez in a welterweight clash.

The evening’s opening bout saw junior welterweight Eric “El Toro” Hernandez earn a shutout unanimous decision over Jonatan Hernan Godoy, delighting the home crowd with his aggressive, high-volume attack.
