GBM Sports’ First DAZN Event Marks Milestone for British Promotion
On June 29, GBM Sports’ promotion at the Skydome in Coventry, England, will mark the first event under their broadcast agreement with DAZN. This partnership represents a significant milestone for the small-hall, British promotional organization overseen by retired heavyweight Izzy Asif.
DAZN, the streaming service, has already established working relationships with prominent promoters like Matchroom and Golden Boy Promotions. The addition of GBM Sports, described as a “multi-fight deal,” will further expand DAZN’s reach in the boxing world.
Notably, DAZN has also recently started collaborating with Salita Promotions in the United States, showcasing the platform’s commitment to delivering diverse boxing content to its global audience.
Fans can look forward to seeing Tyson Fury’s cousin, professional heavyweight Hughie Fury, as well as Irish welterweight Kieran Molloy, set to compete on the July 29 event.
