Promising Junior Lightweight Prospect Curmel Moton Secures Spot on High-Profile Undercard
Curmel Moton, the 18-year-old junior lightweight prospect with a 3-0 (2 KOs) record, is set to make his next appearance on the undercard of the highly anticipated Nate Diaz-Jorge Masvidal event, which will be streamed on Fanmio this Saturday.
Moton’s inclusion on the stacked undercard, which also features a boxing matchup between Daniel Jacobs and Shane Mosley Jr., marks his second consecutive appearance on a pay-per-view broadcast. In his last outing, Moton secured a unanimous decision victory over Anthony Cuba, with the fight being more competitive than the lopsided scorecards suggested, and airing as part of the free preliminary broadcast preceding the Tim Tszyu-Sebastian Fundora pay-per-view.
Now, the rising young talent will face off against the 36-year-old Nikolai Buzolin (9-8-1, 5 KOs), who has suffered four consecutive defeats, including a six-round unanimous decision loss to Feargal McCrory, who recently came up short in a title fight against Lamont Roach Jr.
“This latest opportunity on a high-profile platform serves as further evidence of Moton’s growing reputation and potential within the junior lightweight division. Boxing enthusiasts will be eager to witness the young prospect’s development as he continues to build momentum on the big stage.”
