Experienced Boxing Executive Roberto Diaz Joins Sheer Sports Management as President
In a move that promises to elevate the company’s presence in the world of professional boxing, Sheer Sports Management has announced the appointment of Roberto Diaz as the organization’s new President.
Diaz, a seasoned industry veteran, brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously served as the Vice President and Chief Matchmaker at Golden Boy Promotions. During his tenure at Golden Boy, Diaz played a pivotal part in shaping the landscape of professional boxing, helping to build the careers of numerous boxers from their debut into world championship status.
Prior to his work at Golden Boy, Diaz also served as the advisor to three-time world champion Marco Antonio Barrera and five-time champion Manuel Medina. At Golden Boy, Diaz worked closely with high-profile talents such as Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, Ryan Garcia, and Vergil Ortiz Jr.
